Agave victoriae-reginae ssp. swobodae compacta is a more compact form of the beautiful Mexican Queen Victoria agave. It has a maximum size at maturity of about half the usual for this already compact species. These are just starting to show their character. Expect that each plant will be unique.
These plants were seed grown in the US.
You will get one of the plants shown, established in a 2" pot, ready for larger pots. Make sure to use a gritty mix, ideally with oyster shell added for extra calcium. They are said to be cold tolerant but are not freeze hardy, especially under wet conditions.
Example plant shows a standard victoriae-reginae, shown just for reference of what the bud-printing patterns (the white lines) can look like as the plants mature.
