Bc. Morning Glory 4N tetraploid | cattleya hybrid seedlings | SapphireChild Orchids

Bc Morning Glory (Brassavola nodosa × Cattleya purpurata) - tetraploid (4N) remake of this lovely primary hybrid bearing nodosa style flowers with a dark pink spotted lip. These can vary in the intensity of color, with some being a rich purple-pink all over, some just having it on the lip, and some almost white with pink fireworks on the lip. And they are typically richly fragrant too!

Adaptable and easy to grow, expect these to finish out in the 'medium' range due to the influence of the purpurata parent.

You will get one of the seedlings shown, which are in two inch pots, or one similar in size. As they are seedlings, each one will be unique. These are a couple years from blooming size. Grow in high light (Bright West or South facing window preferred).
