Brassavola nodosa 'Susan Fuchs' FCC/AOS - a classic example of the species, this is a very vigorous strain, super easy to grow potted or mounted.  Like all examples of this species, flowers are wonderfully fragrant at night.

Mostly we recommend growing this species warm, but this strain will also grow and bloom fine with an intermediate winter.  Water mounted specimens generously, especially in the summer.  But as they are pretty succulent, if you miss some days, thats fine too.

Brassavola nodosa is easily one of my favorite species. It has wonderfully crystalline white flowers which are strongly fragrant at night. They are also excellent growers, producing lots of roots and multiple new growths per year.  Plants are modest in height and very upright in habit. Makes an excellent plant for bright, warm windowsills.  Easily grown in your choice of pot, basket, or mount.

Plants are blooming size divisions of the awarded clone, 'Susan Fuchs'.  Grow in high light (Bright West or South facing window preferred) for best results.  Plants are not currently in bloom.
