Bulbophyllum barbigerum | multi lead plant | SapphireChild Orchids

Bulbophyllum barbigerum has a fimbriate lip that catches air currents, and wiggles randomly - looks like its alive. I'm sure its an effective lure for some pollinator, but not sure what. It has several oppositely arranged flowers of dark and mysterious color along the stem. 

You will get the plant shown, which is mounted on cork and has about 4 lead growth points, I believe. It is not currently in bloom but is blooming size. Water frequently, keep warm, a little more than a phalaenopsis-level light ideally, but less than a cattleya.  I find this species does best mounted.
