RESTOCKED FOR 2026!
Fresh divisions, recently mounted on cork.
Bulbophyllum lasiochilum flavum (album). This is a dwarf species with rambling habit, that faithfully pops out little yellow flowers in the spring. You may be familiar with the type for the species, which is dark tepals around the top and two spotted sepals at the bottom. Available here is the less common yellow form, which I've seen labeled flavum, flava, alba, album...I guess its open season on pick your favorite way to indicate "not wildtype color". They're all the same thing, near as I can tell. More importantly, they're all cute.
Available plants are mounted, as I find they're easier to grow this way. Keep them warm, well watered and in about low ("phalaenopsis" level) light.
This species is great for terrarium or greenhouse cabinet culture, too!
You will get one of the plants shown or one similar in size. They are not currently in bloom but are blooming size. Flower photo is for example only.
