Cymbidium ensifolium Hua Mu Lan 花木蘭 - this variety matures smaller and has more delicate foliage than other ensifolium varieties. Foliage is overall light in color, dominated by pale creamy yellow stripes. Flowers are chartreuse, with dark red stripes and marks, and very cute.
Due to its size, this one is particularly easy to manage under artificial light. I have bloomed it on the same shelf as small paphs, though the foliage is much closer to the lamp than the paphs.
Cym. ensifolium is my favorite species of the mini cymbidium group. In theory they will take a cooler winter, but I can confirm they don't seem to need it. Intermediate (65-70F), which is the typical temperature in the average winter windowsill, is sufficient to keep them happy. The species can be bloomed in medium to bright light, even under artificial light.
These are blooming size divisions with 3-4 growths each, recently potted. We have some in 3" and some slightly larger with more root mass in 3.5" pots. All are blooming size.
