Cymbidium goeringii Chun Lan Zhong Tou 春蘭中透 - Absolutely stunning mid-leaf, saturated bright yellow variegation on this dwarf variety with gracefully arching foliage. These are small, but very showy, visible from across the room with a dark backdrop. Flowers on this one are equally showy, a yellow starburst with green claw markings around the edges. Beautiful to look at in any season.
Cym. goeringii will prefer an intermediate to cool winter, and a warm summer. The species can be bloomed in medium light, but will bloom more reliably in bright light, like cattleyas. Between its size and preference for cooler winter, its an excellent plant for those of you with cold windowsills in winter!
