Bc Walter August 'nodosa blush' x Cattleya jenmanii semi-alba
I'm experimenting with using Walter August to make crosses that I hope will be improved versions of the typical nodosa fare, meaning with more color potential, but with similar vigor and ease of blooming. This particular Walter August has a flower shaped like nodosa, but much larger and more flat, as well as with a soft pink blush. Here, it has been crossed with a semi-alba jenmanii specimen. I'm looking for results similar to Bc Jenosa, but with better shape and more dramatic color. Plants should finish out a robust, medium stature.
We have flasks of these available containing approximately 20-25 seedlings each, grown right here in our own lab. The plants are ready to deflask. You will get the flask shown or one similar in size. Flower photos show the parents of this cross.
