Tetraploid (4N) seed-grown of Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi v. chattaladae! Chattaladae is the all red form of the species that has become the dominant form in the trade in the last several years - with reason, its a very striking glossy, saturated red. Being 4N, we can expect this group of youngsters to have enhanced characteristics like thickness of flower segments. Expect fragrance as well, and for the plants to remain compact in stature.
P. cornu-cervi is a chunky root type, so tends to do best in a coarse, free draining media.
Remember, make sure to leave old spikes alone on this species, as long as they are green they will rebloom on their own from the tip or from branching.
You will get one of the 3" pots shown containing 1 plant, or one with similar in size. These should be approaching blooming size - cornu-cervi does not get very big.
