Phalaenopsis deliciosa subspecies hookeriana - this is a small phalaenopsis species with leaves up to about 6" each, bearing semi-pendant, branching spikes of yellow and pink flowers. They flower successively, a few flowers open with more buds to come in a continuing cycle over a few weeks. These are happiest when its roots are allowed to roam freely, so we're growing them mounted. Its very cute, and not common in cultivation.
These are blooming size plants established on cork mounts. Keep them warm and in typical phal light levels. Frequent watering, as much as daily in the summer, will be appreciated.
You will get the plant shown, which is not currently in bloom but big enough to bloom for the first time this coming spring-summer. Flower photo is for reference only, and shows one of its siblings.
