Platycerium andinum x quadridichotomum - looking to see distinctive, forked, draping fronds at maturity!
In theory this is a.k.a Platyceirum Callard. But as the original of that was an accidental cross, and there was some hand-waving involved. Still, that may give you some idea what to expect - long forked fronds with fingers at the ends. Right now, they’re just cute.
We're expecting these to like to be moist, but not sloppy wet. They will probably prefer to be mounted, as it will reduce chance of rot at the growing tip. They will probably tolerate a slightly drier winter rest, but they may not really require it.
These plants are currently in small pots of sphagnum. They were recently imported, and may show some signs of that in minor imperfections of the fronds. They may or may not have shield fronds.
You will get one of the plants shown or one similar in size. For clarification, the second photo shows two separate plants, you will get a single plant.
