Platycerium Foong SiQi 'QQ', a hybrid fern of unknown parentage, but well worth growing. Fertile fronds curl at the tips as the spore patches mature, giving texture and color contrast to the silvery body of the plant. Shield fronds tend to be nicely upright with modest fingers.
Available plants are pups rooting nicely in small pots of sphagnum. As they were imported a few months ago, there may be some remaining scratch and dent, particularly on the shield fronds, as a result of their import trip. You will get one of the plants shown or one similar in size.
A photo of a mature QQ frond, showing the famous curled spore patches, is also included. Mature specimen is not for sale, but you can look forward to this as your plant grows up!
