Platycerium hillii x alcicorne (Africa) 'Moose' - Elegant plants with very upright, solid fronds. As they age, expect the fertile fronds to become more broad at the end, with more finely divided fingers. These will be beautiful in baskets. 

The African strain of alcicorne has a more waxy, smooth appearance, and you can see that come through in this hybrid.  Meanwhile, the hillii parent contributes to the stout, upright morphology, and also should lend an increased tolerance of excess water.  I am also curious to see if between the two species we get more continual growth throughout the year, as these species have different patterns for when they grow new shield fronds.

You will get one of the plants shown or one similar in size.  Plants are established in small pots of sphagnum and ready for bigger pots, baskets or mounts!
