Note - tubers may arrive without foliage or with some torn foliage, and usually very few roots, due to the challenges of extracting tubers from an active community tray without damaging foliage. These will easily grow new foliage, though, so just make sure you pot them upon arrival so they can get started on fresh roots. Set the bottom of the tuber just below the soil surface, leaving the majority of the tuber exposed, for best results.
Sinningia bullata is a fascinating species with extra long, luxurious fuzz on the underside of mature leaves and on all the flower stems. The top side of the leaf is shiny bright green with dense bubbly texture. Flowers are a brilliant orange-red. Older stems can trail a bit, which may make them an interesting candidate for hanging baskets. But if you get tired of long stems everywhere, you can also trim it to stimulate new growth. Make sure they are in bright light for best blooming and leaf size.
I grow the species pretty much like all the other Sinningias, though tend not to force them to total dormancy in the winter.
