C SmallWorld x Triumphans 4N tetraploid | cattleya hybrid seedlings | SapphireChild Orchids

I can't wait to see these bloom.  These are (Cattleya Small World x Triumphans) - using tetraploid (4N) parents, so expect nice, juicy substance.  But more to the point, these are two primary hybrds bred together, combining the species luteola, aclandiae, dowiana aurea, and rex.  So expect flowers to be large, full, bright yellow with a magenta lip.  I hope to see these plants finish out in the "medium" size range, thanks to the Small World parent, but only time will tell.

These are recently potted out from community pots.  They've been easy growers so far, apparently having inherited all the easy-going genes. 

You will get one of the seedlings shown, which are in two inch pots, or one similar in size. As they are seedlings, each one will be unique. These are a couple years from blooming size. Grow in high light (Bright West or South facing window preferred).
