Cattleya mossiae 'Pink Commander' - a perfectly soft pink-lavender tipo clone of this classic species, with a gold and fuschia lip. The example flower photo does not really do it justice. Adult plants typically have multiple flowers per spike up to 8 inches wide each. It is also the national flower of Venezuela.
As "large" cattleya species go, this one is on the small to medium size, so you can expect it to offer enjoyment of the large cattleya look without quite as much of the space committment. They are not dwarf, however, so assume these will need 2-3 years to get bigger before they bloom the first time.
Available are young plants recently repotted in 3" pots. You will get one of the plants shown, or one similar in size. Flower photo is for example only.
