Cattleya percivaliana - beautiful, round purple-pink flowers and spicy fragrance, usually blooming around the holidays - much better than a pointsettia, I think. Plants are compact relative to other cattleays in this group, and can give a lovely display in just a 5" pot, making them one of the more windowsill friendly of the "standard" cattleya species.
These are seedlings recently repotted in 3" pots. You will get one of the plants shown, or one similar in size.
