Oncidium calochilum (Tolumnia calochila) is a miniature species with terete foliage that looks a bit like glossy pine needles. Flowers are bright yellow and have an interesting form, including a heart-shaped lip with a slightly fimbriate/serrated edge. They are also amazingly fragrant. This species is fairly rare in cultivation.
We grow these medium bright and warm with frequent watering and good air movement. More conventional potting is not recommended, I don't think they would like it. Native habitat is dry scrub twig epiphyte.
You will get the young seedling shown, on a cork mount. Flower photo is for reference only. Plants are 1-2 years from blooming size.
