Platycerium wallichii
One of the large species, closely allied to grande, wandae, etc., but for two points - one it does tend to stay slightly smaller than the others in cultivation, and two, it on occasion will produce pups, though still less than other groups of platyceriums.
Reportedly, the species may have a strong preference for a slightly cooler, slightly drier dormancy, but that doesn't necessarily mean "no water", only less.
I have one plant available now, which has just come out of dormancy (second photo). During dormancy, fertile fronds curl and dry like a resurrection plant. Its a bit disturbing the first time you experience it, don't freak out! As you can see, when the wake up in the spring you get new shield growth, and the fertile fronds stretch out. Other photo shows an example of how they look in the fall.
