Platycerium andinum x quadridichotomum
So far, they're cute and compact, with stronger quadridichotomum influence. So far, it seems like andinum parent takes the small quadridichotomum genetics, and makes it easier to grow. May be similar to Platycerium Callard in appearance at full maturity - long forked fronds with fingers at the ends.
They may tolerate a slightly drier winter rest, but they do not really require it. We've been growing these a couple years, and so far they're perfectly happy in pots and bright light, being allowed to dry between waterings.
You will get the selected plant shown, well established in a black pot.
