Haraella retrocalla is an adorable miniature orchid species with fragrant flowers that look like little yellow and red bugs. Fragrance is reminiscent of citrus.
Care is similar to Phalaenopsis. However since they are mounted (or in very small pots), if you are growing in the home plan to water frequently. For mounted plants this may be daily if very hot or dry. Potted plant less often. This is made easier if you are able to keep it near a sink, perhaps in your kitchen window! These are also suitable for cabinet culture.
These are young blooming size seedlings. Some are sending up their first spikes now, the rest will bloom the first time next spring! If I have one in spike when you order, I'll send that one. :)
You will get one of the the plants shown or one similar in size. Your choice of plants mounted on cork or in tiny pots. Plants are blooming size but may not be in bloom upon arrival. Flower photo for reference only.
