Paphiopedilum spicerianum is an under-appreciated species, in my opinion. It has draping, medium green foliage usually with interesting mid-rib stripe and stippling spots underneath, giving it year-round elegance. The flower has rippled petals, usually a raspberry spot on the staminode, and a sweeping white dorsal with a magenta stripe down the center.
I've always found it adaptable and easy to bloom under lights or in windowsills in a range of temperatures. For more details, I recommend checking out SlipperOrchids.info
This was an accidental division from one of our plants (I don't remember which), but despite being small, has grown some new roots and new foliage, so I think its on track now for the usual vigorous growth pattern for this species. You'll get the plant shown.
