Phalaenopsis Penang Girl (venosa 'CH' x violacea indigo) - this batch of was remade out of two saturated color plants - P. venosa 'CH', which is a solid dark brick color, and an indigo version of violacea. This particular plant is an impressive (and hard to describe) shade between magenta and iron oxide red, and is also fragrant.
These types of phals can make a good display mounted or in baskets, hung so that the leaves can grow out broad and somewhat down, as is their habit. But as you can see, these are equally happy in pots! Keep warm, and water generously. Don't forget to leave old spikes on these - don't cut them as long as they're green.
Comes with surprise kangaroo paw fern friend. Its your choice if they stay together or get separated to their own baskets. If together, I'd recommend moving them both to a larger basket, and making sure to train the fern to one side away from the light so as to not overshadow the phalaenopsis.
The Phalaenopsis is blooming size, and in bloom at time of listing, but may not be in bloom upon arrival.
