Sinningia bullata is a fascinating species with extra long, luxurious fuzz on the underside of mature leaves and on all the flower stems. The top side of the leaf is shiny bright green with dense bubbly texture. Flowers are a brilliant orange-red.

Older stems can trail a bit, like the example plants shown here. If you get tired of that you can trim it and force new, more upright growth. Make sure they are in bright light for best blooming and leaf size.

These plants are recently repotted from a community tray to individual 3" pots and establishing nicely. I grow the species pretty much like all the other Sinningias, though tend not to force them to total dormancy in the winter, and it seems to work fine.

Plants are blooming size but not currently in bloom. Flower photos show examples of what you might expect.

All my sinningia are seed grown by me in the USA.
