Sinningia reitzii forms an interesting, multi-lobed tuber over time which can be quite impressive. Flowers on these are a fantastic fuscia color, sometimes red, and foliage is matte green on top with a deep red-purple back.
All my sinningias are seed grown by me in the USA.
This seems to be a pretty adaptable species, growing rapidly in a range of light levels and are drought tolerant. As with other sinningia, I use a high porosity soil mix. They may shed their foliage during dormancy.
