Sophronitis (cattleya) cernua f. aurea - yellow form of this popular miniature species.
These mature with 1 inch leaves and plump, round pseudobulbs, and will happily creep all over a mount. They are generally easy to grow and flower, but can tend toward very seasonal growth habits, with distinct activity periods in the spring and fall. Unlike other "sophronitis" species, they also do not require cool temperatures, and generally prefer average household warmth. These are mounted, so water generously.
